Zeti is an award-winning FinTech company which connects electric vehicle (‘EV’) fleet operators with institutional asset and infrastructure lenders, providing flexible risk-adjusted finance and value-added data services to both. Our mission is to accelerate the adoption of ultra-low and zero emission connected transportation at scale through the digital transformation of the fleet financing process.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in London, Zeti has enjoyed considerable early success, including graduating from the Accenture FinTech Innovation Lab, winning awards such as the CoMotion LA New Mobility Challenge and the 2022 Visa Everywhere Initiative for Europe, and raising funding from the likes of Powerhouse, Toyota Ventures and recently a £5m Series A investment from HYCAP.

Having established partnerships with several alternative lenders in the UK since 2020, we’ve deployed and now manage ~£30m of assets operating mostly in London, with around 4,500 vehicles in total on the platform. This has allowed us to help save over 10,000,000 kilograms of CO2 emissions and 29,000 kilograms of NOx emissions (at tailpipe) from equivalent internal combustion engine vehicles. All of this is facilitated via Zeti Hub, our proprietary integrated platform built on Microsoft Azure with customer-facing portals. But the future ahead looks even more exciting at Zeti. We have a pipeline of >£400m of opportunities across UK, US & central Europe, and further business model diversification to apply the platform to other clean energy assets, such as renewable energy infrastructure.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Developer to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining Zeti Hub. This software exposes three portals, Invest, Operate and Manage, that automate the entire process of investing in clean transport. You will work with our tech stack, including C# on Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, and React with TypeScript and Material UI, to help us scale our solutions and accelerate our mission to reduce carbon emissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design: Lead the design and architecture of complex software solutions, ensuring they align with Zeti's technical and environmental goals.
Development: Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and reliable code in C# for Azure Functions and in React with TypeScript and Material UI for the frontend.
Database Management: Utilise Azure Cosmos DB to design and manage efficient data models, ensuring high-performance data access while supporting our sustainability objectives.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver features that enhance our green fintech solutions.
Code Quality: Advocate for and implement best practices in coding, testing, and code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and reliability.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to development and production environments.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements to our tech stack and development processes to support our rapid growth and sustainability goals.
DevOps: Improve upon existing DevOps pipelines and build new ones (using GitHub Actions).

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in C# and Azure Functions. Proven experience with React, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in C# and experience with Azure Functions. Expertise in React, TypeScript, and HTML & CSS. Material UI experience useful. Strong experience with Azure Cosmos DB or similar NoSQL databases. Solid understanding of modern software development practices and methodologies. Understanding of how to build and maintain DevOps pipelines
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Passion for mentoring and guiding less experienced team members. Commitment to sustainability and interest in green fintech solutions.
